Our School Council
We are the school council 2021/2022, and we put forward ideas and proposals about changes we would like to make. We care for each other and our environment and we know that we can make a difference. We meet regularly and take our role very seriously.

As well as helping the school make improvements we also enjoy organizing fund-raising events. In 2016 we raised over £2000 for various charities through events such as:

This year we have come together to raise money for a variety of charities:
June 2021 - we raised a fantastic £2451.60 for the charity-Sports for Champions.
March 2022 - We raised over £2000 for Sports4schools
March 2022 - We raised an amazing £555 from our bake sale for the Ukraine appeal and also donated many items for #fillthebus, in connection with ASFC community, all the items donated were sent to help the people of Ukraine.

FUNDRAISING 2018 - 2019
This year we have chosen three charities to support - one for each term.
All the children in school were asked to write a persuasive letter suggesting a charity that we could raise money for. The School Council then narrowed it down to a dozen finalists and the children then voted for their favourite. The winners were:

Spring Term 2019 - Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity (Imogen Class 4)
Summer Term 2019 - Cancer Research (Jude Class 4)
