Fundraising 2023/2024

This year we have come together to raise money for a variety of charities:

Oct 2022 - we raised £284 for Mediquip4kids, supporting children who need medical help at home.

Harvest - we donated 167KG of food to our local food bank.

Nov 2022 - we raised £302.72 for Children in Need through a cake sale

Dec 2022 - we donated toys at our church Toy service for local families who were in need at Christmas


Mother's day shop! The School Council organised and ran their own secret shop - what a success! Our mum's and grandmas were really thankful and we raised £70! 

Class 4 leaders have planned and delivered their own suitcase sale! They raised over £500 to donate to the coach fund for their residential trip! What an achievement! We are courageous advocates!

Fundraising 2021/2022

This year we have come together to raise money for a variety of charities:

June 2021 -  we raised a fantastic £2451.60 for the charity-Sports for Champions.

March 2022 - We raised over £2000 for Sports4schools

March 2022 -  We raised an amazing £555 from our bake sale for the Ukraine appeal and also donated many items for #fillthebus, in connection with ASFC community, all the items donated were sent to help the people of Ukraine.

This year the school council have chosen a local, a national and a global charity - one for each term. All the children voted for the charities that we wanted to support and here are the results...

FUNDRAISING 2018 - 2019

This year we have chosen three charities to support - one for each term.

All the children in school were asked to write a persuasive letter suggesting a charity that we could raise money for. The School Council then narrowed it down to a dozen finalists and the children then voted for their favourite.  The winners were:

Autumn Term 2018 -  Guide Dogs for the Blind (Lucia Class 3)

Spring Term 2019 -    Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity (Imogen Class 4)

Summer Term 2019 - Cancer Research (Jude Class 4)
